I am a thinker…sometimes a doer. For several years I was an engineer and worked on an insane variety of technology – at one point, literally a rocket scientist.  Now I play with a mix of cleantech business development and entrepreneurship.  I say “play” instead of “work” because I enjoy what I do – if you are “working” every day, you are wasting many many hours of your precious life…

I was born in a tiny southern town and raised by skydiving entrepreneurial accountants. I met my wife in grad school and together we moved to SoCal – first Sandy Eggo, then Los Angeles. Now we are getting ready to move to Boston where I will start my MBA at Harvard. Getting ready for this transition is really what spurred me to try to start sharing my thoughts in a blog.
